Dr. Kim is a Professor at Yonsei University College of Medicine and the founder of NKGEN Inc. He brings extensive expertise across neuro-oncology, immunology, NK cell biology, and regenerative medicine, backed by a distinguished track record of basic and translational research.

As Scientific Advisor, Dr. Kim will provide strategic guidance for the advancement of Sun&Genes Pharma’s CAR-NK platform, including preclinical program design, clinical development strategy, and planning for global regulatory pathways in key markets.

Through this appointment, Sun&Genes Pharma aims to further strengthen its scientific capabilities, refine its preclinical and clinical development roadmap, and accelerate the global clinical translation of its CAR-NK cell therapy candidates.

Sun&Genes Pharma is building a differentiated CAR-NK platform targeting hard-to-treat central nervous system diseases, beginning with glioblastoma, with plans to expand into broader neurodegenerative and CNS indications.
